WOMEN'S CONINTENTAL CUP
VIKERSUND, NOR

Today, March 5th, was the first leg of the final period of the Women's Continental Cup held in Vikersund Norway. The weather was perfect, without the normal Norwegian overcast skies. Our team missed the official training due to a canceled flight to Amsterdam. We arrived late last night with bags under our eyes from the long travel period. The organizers were very understanding of our late arrival and let us take an extra training jump before the competition. Although we were a bit tired it turned out alright. Alissa jumped better than she had in the previous Continental Cups and had jumps of 88.5 and 89 meters finishing in 8th place. Jessica had jumps of 89 and 90.5 meters and finished the day tied with Maya Vtic for 5th place. My jumps were alright with distances of 94 and 92 meters. I finished in 2nd place behind Anette Sagen once again. Anette Sagen has now won the Continental Cup and leads with 820 points. In the Continental Cup I am currently ranked 2nd with 600 points. Jessica has 420 points and is in 7 place. Alissa has 243 points and is ranked 11th on the Continental Cup List. Tomorrow is another Continental Cup here in Vikersund, and we hope the conditions will be as pleasing as today. All of our aspirations are high for tomorrow, and we hope that shows in the results.
